In North Carolina, Gerrius Antoine Davis allegedly ran over a 12-year-old boy, Daniel Brown, and allegedly left the scene without stopping to help the child-victim, leaving him mortally wounded in front of his childhood friend on the cold street on a winters’ day. This stellar citizen is charged with a felony hit and run and obstruction of justice. And he is already out of jail after posting bond.
Daniel Brown was a student at Albemarle Middle School. His friend that witnessed this tragedy was able to provide police with a description of the vehicle that ran his friend down and left him to die. Mr. Davis allegedly went so far as to hide the vehicle in an attempt to get it repaired when police found it.
