The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that IKEA Home Furnishing is voluntarily recalling their products that go by the names IRIS and ALVINE Roman Blinds due to one child death in Greenwich, Connecticut. The blinds have been sold in IKEA stores nationwide between July 2005 and June 2008. Tragically, the deceased child was found strangulated  and partially suspended in the inner cord of the blinds.
