In California, Bambi Hess faces charges in connection with allegations of driving under the influence and child endangerment. News stories report of Ms. Hess’s alleged involvement in a car crash involving a vehicle versus tree mishap on Friday evening. Witnesses report they saw Ms. Hess’s car traveling at an accelerated rate of speed before it came to rest at a tree on Honey Run Road. Tragically, two small children, a 4 year-old boy and a 3 year-old girl, were passengers in the car at the time of impact. The children are currently in the custody of the Butte County Children’s Services. Reportedly, Ms. Hess is receiving medical care and is expected to be re-arrested upon discharge from Enloe Medical Center. California Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
