In California, the FBI visited another church in connection with Melissa Huckaby’s murder charges. Ms. Huckaby is accused of killing 8 year-old Sandra Cantu. She was arrested after the child’s body was found stuffed in her suitcase. Ms. Huckaby’s grandfather, Pastor Lane Lawless, is also under investigation. He is the pastor of Clover Road Baptist Church. Pastor Lawless’s alleged role in this crime, if any, is not disclosed yet. Ms. Huckaby and Pastor Lawless have both become the subject of recent news stories linking them to alleged arson, child sex abuse and child drugging activities.
