In Colorado, Kohl’s Department stores will donate $442, 063.00 to The Children’s Hospital fund dedicated to preventing Shaken Baby Syndrome, also known as Abusive Head Trauma. Kohl’s will also be releasing a new video entitled, “Crying Happens, What’s your plan?” The video will provide tips for caring for infants and developing a plan for parents to act on when infants cry inconsolably. Kohl’s has actively backed a nationwide campaign to address Shaken Baby Syndrome and its impact on society and children. Reportedly, the Kohl’s Care for Kids program has donated more than two million dollars to The Children’s Hospital fund since 2000.
