In Colorado, police are investigating the involvement of Benjamin Koller and Jennifer Schmidt in their two-month-old infant’s injuries and critical condition. Presently, news stories report that Mr. Koller remains in custody in the Boulder County Jail facing felony child abuse charges. If the baby does not survive the injuries, Mr. Koller will face different charges. The baby is hospitalized at Children’s Hospital in Aurora. The baby allegedly has a skull fracture, multiple bruises and bit marks and is allegedly considered to have global brain damage.
