In Duluth, student Allison Libby won first place in the annual poster contest sponsored by First Witness Child Abuse Resource Center. Her poster image will be displayed on a local billboard in April.
Hailey Smith of Lincoln Park Elementary School won second place. Second place prize includes having the second place image featured on place mats at Perkins Family Restaurants for the month of April.
The First Witness organization assists authorities with investigations into alleged child abuse cases.
