In Florida, Rodney Clem Cummings and Candy Cummings were arrested for charges related to the hit-and-run death of Samantha Hasting.

In Florida, Rodney Clem Cummings and Candy Cummings were arrested for charges related to the hit-and-run death of Samantha Hasting. Samantha was walking on her way to join friends when she was run over by Candy Cummings sometime between 6:30 and 7:00 pm Friday evening. Sadly, it was her friends that found her dead hours later.  

Mrs. Cummings is charged with leaving the scene of an accident with a fatality and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license. News stories report that Mr. Cummings knew his wife did not have a valid driver’s license and was with her as a passenger at the time of the hit-and-run. Both are in custody.
