In Florida, Tivasha Logan and Chauncey Gardner are charged with felony murder and aggravated child abuse in connection with the death of their five-month-old daughter, Chauntasia. The Lakeland couple was arrested after investigators determined that the couple allegedly starved their infant daughter to death. Allegedly, the baby has not seen a physician since her birth. There were five other children in the home in addition to the deceased baby. News stories report there was food in the kitchen, but a very small amount of formula present in the home. Allegedly the couple may have mixed the formula incorrectly causing a smaller amount of caloric intake for the infant. The baby weighed less at the time of her death than she did when she came home from the hospital after her birth.
