In Georgia, tragedy struck the family of Kristian Sales this morning when she suddenly became the victim of a hit-and-run driver on her way to school this morning. Kristian was crossing the street to catch the bus on her way to school when her parents witnessed that a hit-and-run driver struck their daughter and left her lay in the street severely injured. Her parents rushed to her side. She was transferred emergently to Grady Hospital. She suffered a brain injury and multiple fracture injuries. Kristian is a student at Chamblee High School. The hit-and-run driver left a severely injured child on the side of the road in very cold weather.
