In Kentucky, Justin Robinson 26-year-old, of Pike County, has been charged in connection with the child abuse injuries his girlfriend’s toddler sustained. News stories report that the child had severe bruising on his entire head and a fractured leg by the time his mother got home from work. Allegedly, the injuries occurred while the child was in the care of Mr. Robinson. When the injured child’s mother returned home from work and saw the injuries, she took the child to the emergency room at Pikeville Medical Center. Doctors notified police after evaluating the child’s injuries. News stories report that authorities suspect this may not be the first time Mr. Robinson abused the child. When police arrived to Mr. Robinson’s home to arrest him, news stories report that he had to be tazed for police to gain control for the arrest.
Presently, Mr. Robinson is bonded out of jail and on home incarceration. It is not immediately clear what one has to do to children in Pike County to remain in jail.
