In Minnesota, 14- month-old girl dies after being struck in the head by a bat-yielding man in church. David E. Collins and Darryl G. Kennedy have been arrested in connection with the tragedy. News stories report the altercation started when the child’s father was confronted by Collins and Kennedy in church over a washer and a dryer. After the child was dealt the fatal blow, allegedly Collins and Kennedy left the scene. The child died at a hospital shortly thereafter. The crime occurred at the Thy Kingdom Come Church.
