In Missouri, the child sex abuse investigation continues in which Jared Leroy Mohler, David A. Mohler, Burrell Edward Mohler, Sr., Burrell Edward Mohler, Jr., and Roland Neil Mohler are charged. All the defendants are currently held in the Lafayette County Jail. The five family members are charged with bestiality, forcible sodomy, rape of a child younger than 12 and use of a child in a sexual performance. There are allegations of forcing an 11-year-old girl to have an abortion. The crimes are alleged to have occurred from 1988 – 1995. The property of two defendants is under investigative excavation searching for evidence the victims report is present on the property. Authorities are searching for bodies and other clues of child abuse.
Investigators would like to hear from former victims if they have not stepped forward. So far, over a half dozen victims have stepped forward to report the child sex abuse. The Missouri State Highway Patrol and Lafayette County Prosecutors Office are conducting the investigation.
