In New Mexico, Teresa Kincaid pled no contest to a charge of negligent child abuse for the 2005 death of her son Zachariah Ward.  Ms. Kincaid allegedly admitted to throwing her son to the floor and kicking him. She was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Zachariah was 8 months-old when he died.
