In New York, Joanne Alvarez pled guilty in Manhattan Supreme Court to criminal negligent homicide for the death of her foster daughter. New stories report that Taylor complained of a sore neck and Ms. Alvarez admits she placed an adult-dosed medicated patch on Taylor. Taylor was found unconscious in Ms. Alvarez’s home some time afterwards. Sadly, Taylor died at the hospital.
