In Rhode Island, Rachin McCoy is charged with murder in the vicious beating death of his newborn daughter, Naomi McCoy. His case was heard before the Newport District Court. Naomi died from her fatal injuries at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. She had skull and rib fractures. The medical examiner ruled her death was from blunt force trauma. She had injuries to her head, torso, legs and arms.
