In Rio, West Virginia, a three-day-old infant boy died after being mauled by the family’s dogs. The Hardy County Sherriff’s Office is investigating the tragedy. The tragic attack on the baby boy took place at a home in Gretchen Acres subdivision around 10:50 p.m. Emergency personnel arrived and attempted to revive the severely injured infant boy. The two dogs involved in the incident were noted to be a pit bull and a mixed breed German shepherd. Both dogs were euthanized by authorities. Charges are pending in this matter.
