In St. Louis, Montrell Moore is held in connection with the death of toddler, Samar Brown. Montrell is charged with first-degree murder.

In St. Louis, Montrell Moore is held in connection with the death of toddler, Samar Brown. Montrell is charged with first-degree murder. Reportedly, Montrell is the boyfriend of the deceased child's mother.

News stories report that police and rescue were called to the home last Saturday morning. Samar was rushed emergently to the hospital and pronounced dead shortly afterwards. Providers noted that Samar allegedly had burns and bruises on his face and torso. The autopsy revealed that Samar died from abdominal blunt force trauma with a lacerated spleen and liver and other associated internal injuries.
