In Tennessee, Lindsey Norris and David Thomas are charged in connection with the serious injuries inflicted on a 13-month-old girl. The toddler remains hospitalized with serious burns to her face and feet. News stories report the child victim also suffered injuries consistent with non-accidental infliction of force that left bruising and marks on her abdomen and genitals. Both defendants remain in custody at the Campbell County Jail. Tragically for the victim in this case, both defendants tell conflicting stories about the events that transpired before the child’s hospitalization, implicating each other as the child abuser and not taking responsibility.  

Fact: Both defendants, as adults, are responsible for the safety of this child and failed to ensure her safety in this home.
