In Texas, Jason Antoine Farrington faces charges in connection with the death of his infant son, Jayden Farrington. He is charged with injury to a child with intent to cause serious bodily injury.
Allegedly, Mr. Farrington is no stranger to authorities in Arlington. According to news stories, he was the subject of a previous child abuse investigation involving Jayden just three months prior to the baby boy’s death. Jayden died from a skull fracture and abdominal injuries recently.
By way of history, in March 2009, Jayden was victimized and suffered two skull fractures and survived. While authorities were still investigating the matter, Jayden was allegedly placed with his mother under CPS supervision whereupon Jason Farrington was to have no contact with the baby. Presently, CPS is conducting an investigation to determine if protocol was followed during social work supervision of this baby’s home environment. News stories report that authorities speculate that the deceased baby’s mother allegedly may have allowed Mr. Farrington to live in the home again.
