In Utah, Cameron Clint O’Bannon, 30 years-old, was sentenced for the serious shaken baby brain and eye injuries he inflicted on his girlfriend’s son. Last year he was convicted of second-degree felony child abuse involving his girlfriend's son who was left partially blind from his injuries. A judge also ordered Mr. O’Bannon to serve probation, pay fines and restitution and medical/counseling costs for the victim. He was also ordered to complete a domestic violence program and write a letter apologizing to the victim.
