Mary Heath and Sekoa Aiono face additional child abuse charge of aggravated sexual abuse of a child.

Mary Heath, 33 years-old, and Sekoa Aiono, 37 year-old face additional child abuse charge. Investigators have discovered injuries on the six-year-old boy that are consistent with child sexual abuse. A physician made the discovery after physically evaluating the boy.  

The story unfolded when a neighbor found the 9-year-old girl wandering around outside nearly naked in their backyard. Police were called and the girl told them she escaped from a locked bathroom. She also told them her 6-year-old brother is locked in a different bathroom. The children were noted to be bruised and poorly nourished. Mr. Aiono and Ms. Heath deny sexual activity with the child. However, they admit that no one else has been involved in the care of the children.  

Nearly eighty-percent of abusers never admit their crimes.
