A 28-year-old man from Florida has been arrested after being accused of abusing his live-in girlfriend's infant boy.  The Bradford County resident, Rayan Stanton Wesson, was put in jail on $200,000 bond after his story regarding the 8-month-old boy's injuries failed to match the evidence found by medical experts.  Upon confrontation, Wesson finally admitted to throwing the infant against the couch multiple times and swinging him by his leg, but his original story was that he slipped and fell while holding the baby when keeping him alone at home on May 1.  Upon hospitalization, the baby was found to have suffered head injuries, which could lead to permanent impairment, and other severe injuries that resulted from child abuse.

We at the Keane Law Firm hope for the full and fast recovery of the young child, and we express our deepest sympathies to his family at this difficult time.  In cases such as this, we work with physicians and families to ensure that victims of child abuse receive the proper care and medical treatment they need in order to heal from injuries.  If you believe that your child has been abused or injured and you have questions regarding treatment options, your rights, or other legal matters, feel free to call child injury lawyer Chris Keane.  He will compassionately answer your most pressing questions for free. 1-888-592-KIDS (1-888-592-5437).
