Posted on Jul 20, 2011
Gregory Colver was reportedly convicted by a San Mateo County Superior Court Jury for charges related to child endangerment laws and which charges stemmed from a 17 month old child reportedly being burned on around the oven. The toddler reportedly sustained 2nd or 3rd degree burns. The reports of the case indicate that there was a dispute about whether the child accessed the oven on his own, or whether the defendant was responsible for exposing the child to the oven. The report indicates that the defense claimed there was a forced confession.
We recently added a Library Page to the website advising parents of children victims who have been injured in Rainbow daycare or by a Rainbow animal attack or Rainbow dog bite in daycare where to obtain a Rainbow daycare injury report. There are laws that apply to daycare and dog owners in Rainbow and an owner of a daycare or keeper of a dog who violates the law can be held liable for damages in a civil lawsuit to an injured child and dog bite victim. For more information on your legal rights after a Rainbow daycare injury or dog bite, call us at (888) 592-5437 (KIDS) to speak with an experienced daycare injury and dog bite lawyer.
