Gregory Colver was reportedly convicted by a San Mateo County Superior Court Jury for charges related to child endangerment laws and which charges stemmed from a 17 month old child reportedly being burned on around the oven. The toddler reportedly sustained 2nd or 3rd degree burns. The reports of the case indicate that there was a dispute about whether the child accessed the oven on his own, or whether the defendant was responsible for exposing the child to the oven. The report indicates that the defense claimed there was a forced confession.
