In Butler County, Derrick Omar Wilson is currently charged with felony child abuse stemming from an alleged Shaken Baby incident while the infant was in his care. Since his son died this past Monday, October 27, 2008, Mr. Wilson faces charges that likely will be upgraded from second-degree felony child abuse to manslaughter or murder.
