In Ohio, Daycare Provider Enters Plea Deal in Toddler's Death | Daycare Injury

A daycare provider reportedly charged in the death of a 13-month-old left alone in a sweltering SUV, plead guilty to a lesser charge associated with the crime on Wednesday.

Fox 8 News cameras were in a Summit County Common Pleas courtroom when Lisa Scott, 43, of Akron, agreed to plead guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter in the death of 13-month-old Aoloni McCray, of Akron.

Scott had been charged with reckless homicide and felony child endangering. The charges carried the possibility of up to 11-years in prison.
