Father of 2-Month-Old Girl Arrested After Sending Baby to Hospital with Shaken Baby Syndrome Injuries | CA Child Lawyer

A two-month-old girl from Tumwater, Washington, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after her father allegedly shook her, according to the Komo News website.  After Mary Bridge Children's Hospital confirmed that the baby's injuries were consistent with shaken baby syndrome, now called abusive head trauma, the father, Treven W. In Palmdale, a three-year-old boy died after being struck by a malfunctioning motorized garage door.

In Palmdale, a three-year-old boy died after being struck by a malfunctioning motorized garage door. The boy’s mother was leaving her home with her two sons at 6:15 pm on Tuesday March 10, 2009. As she tried to close the garage door, it struck her three-year-old son in the head. Tragically, the boy died at the hospital approximately an hour later. The investigation ruled the boy’s death was an accident.
