COURT APPOINTED CONSERVATOR FOR BRAIN-DAMAGED CHILD WITH SHAKEN BABY SYNDROME

I was the court-appointed conservator for a baby who had suffered shaken baby syndrome. This baby was diagnosed with severe brain damage as a result of being shaken and had a lifetime of special needs. One of the most important jobs I had as a conservator appointed by the court was to try to get money for this injured child to take care of the special needs, like rehabilitation, therapy and special housing for when the child grew up and was going to need to live somewhere safe.
