A two-month-old girl from Tumwater, Washington, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after her father allegedly shook her, according to the Komo News website.  After Mary Bridge Children's Hospital confirmed that the baby's injuries were consistent with shaken baby syndrome, now called abusive head trauma, the father, Treven W. Clark, 22, was arrested and awaits charges.  To read more about this particular incident of shaken baby syndrome or to learn more about the serious condition in general, visit Chris Keane's Shaken Baby Syndrome blog, a website devoted entirely to the subject.
