7/6/2009Due to an increase in cases of child abuse in El Paso County, Colorado, the El Pomar Foundation will provide a total of $34,000 in grant money to three programs dedicated to preventing child abuse in the county. The director of one of the organizations, a nursery called Kids’ Place, recently conducted a video demonstration of how a baby's brain becomes injured when being shaken.
