In Bloomington, Jesse Hummel was arrested in connection with the death of his 8-month-old infant on Saturday afternoon. He remains in custody at the Bloomington jail for charges of felony child neglect. Mr. Hummel was found by police in the wooded area near where the deceased child resided with his mother. Allegedly, he has prior convictions of child and domestic abuse.
