In California, Hesperia resident, Chauncey Taylor is held in San Bernardino County for what authorities allege are acts of child abuse and child torture. San Bernardino County Sheriffs were notified when Loma Linda Medical Center healthcare providers notified them that the infant had sustained suspicious injuries to his head, legs and scrotum. The child’s leg was fractured. He had multiple bruises and a laceration to his scrotum. News stories report that the laceration to the scrotum appeared consistent with intentional infliction of injury. Allegedly, healthcare providers involved in the case believe that the abuse has been occurring over a period of time.
