In Florida, Paul Garry Day has been charged with child abuse in connection with a critically injured infant hospitalized for injuries sustained while in his care. News stories report allegedly Mr. Day shook an infant boy until he stopped breathing because he was crying. The critically injured baby boy was first taken to Holy Cross Hospital and then transferred to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital where he remains hospitalized. The baby is five months old.
