In Nebraska, Lauree Turpen was sentenced to prison for child abuse involving Keagan Boge. Keagan was only 4 months when he sustained fractured ribs, a fractured skull and a brain injury while in the care of Ms. Turpen, a day care provider. The baby survived his injuries. The child abuse took place in September 2007.
Ms. Turpen pled no contest in Sarpy County District Court.
