In Nebraska, Marcus Bass has been charged in connection with alleged child abuse injuries inflicted on a child that sustained brain hemorrhage and fractured bones. Mr. Bass has been charged with felony child abuse. News stories report the child was taken to Children’s Hospital. Medical evaluation revealed injuries consistent with non-accidental injury including a right rib fracture, possible arm and leg fractures and bleeding in the brain. Mr. Bass’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 18^th.
