In Ohio, Vincent Blanda faces trial in connection with the shaken baby death of his infant daughter, Brooklynn Blanda. Brooklynn’s tragic death occurred approximately two years ago. Her autopsy indicates she passed away from intracranial hemorrhage. Mr. Blanda is charged with domestic violence, murder and endangering children. He is a registered sex offender (2003) and is currently held in the Butler County Jail. News stories report he has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity. Allegedly, Mr. Blanda told authorities he shook the baby because she wouldn’t stop crying.
