In Pasadena, Lilyanna Alora Wirick’s father admitted to shaking her in an attempt to stop her crying. He pled guilty to manslaughter. Lilyanna passed away January 15, 2009 after being hospitalized at Johns Hopkins Children Center for nearly a week for critical injuries. Lilyanna was one-month-old when she died. Initially she was treated at Baltimore Washington Medical Center and then transferred to Johns Hopkins Children Center where she passed away.
