In Texas, model citizen Luis Aguilar-Nunez backed over his girlfriend’s five year-old daughter and fled the scene. He has been arrested and faces charges related to failure to stop and render aid.  

The deadly and tragic incident occurred after Nunez and the girl’s mother arrived to pick the child up from the father’s home. The investigation reveals that Nunez and the girl’s father were allegedly involved in an argument which was followed by Nunez hastily putting the car in reverse to leave when tragedy occurred.  

The five year-old victim was transferred to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
