In Wisconsin, Daniel Schaefer, 23-year-old, is facing charges for his role in a deadly drunk driving accident that caused the death of Lacey Meinel. Lacey was just 14-years-old when she died. She was a passenger in a car while returning home from a figure-skating event.
News stories report that model citizen, Daniel Schaefer, was driving the wrong way on Winneconee Highway on January 10th. At the time of his arrest, his blood alcohol level was allegedly 2.5 times the legal limit.
