The trial of Frank D. Price for the murder of 5 year-old Ethan Nathaniel Allen continues this week. The mother of the deceased child, Tonia Whitehead, provided a tearful testimony about the events that led to her son’s death. In Madison County Circuit Court the jury heard testimony from Ms. Whitehead describing her experience at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Mr. Price, a repeat offender, is accused of inflicting mortal injury on Ethan. Allegedly, Ethan lost his life to abusive head trauma and severe blunt trauma. There are multiple features in this case that are consistent with intentional child abuse. Healthcare providers are prepared to provide their testimony.
