NBC 4, in Los Angeles recently obtained documents showing the records of child abuse deaths in Los Angeles County. According to the news report, articles reportedly show some 63 deaths of children due to child abuse since January 2012. The DCFS has reportedly been under fire, internally, and by the public since the death of 8-year-old Gabriel Fernandez in May.
The report also shows that allegedly 4 social workers have been fired for the reported mishandling of Gabriel's case. Sadly this happens more than anyone could imagine in the United States.
Little Gabriel reportedly died of apparent torture and severe abuse after being found near death in his mother's apartment in Palmdale and since, the mother of Gabriel, and her live-in boyfriend were charged in his death.
