In Florida, Richard McTear faces murder charges for the death of baby boy Emanuel Murray, Jr. Jasmine Bedwell was terrorized by domestic violence. Allegedly, Mr. McTear’s final act of terror and control over his victims involved throwing the baby from a car window after he was already beaten. The baby’s mother, beaten, searched for help.
News stories report McTear allegedly terrorized the victims during the few days preceding his final act of abuse and homicide. Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office is handling this homicide investigation. It is unclear at this time what neighbors, family members and authorities did or didn’t do to protect these victims from the abuser that terrorized them.
