In Minnesota, Nicolle Prechel is charged in connection with the death of four-month-old Wyatt Sander after a tragic campsite incident. Ms. Prechel is charged with vehicular homicide and third degree driving while intoxicated with a suspended license. Wyatt was with his parents camping at Renville County campground when the tragedy unfolded.
Sheena Hinshaw and Jacob Sander took Wyatt camping. Allegedly Ms. Prechel drove while intoxicated and ran over the tent Wyatt was in with his mother at around 08:20 am Sunday morning. Wyatt was killed and Sheena was injured. News stories report that Sheena was taken to a hospital and listed in stable condition. Wyatt was pronounced dead after arrival to the hospital.
Allegedly, Ms. Prechel has a criminal history involving drugs, stolen property, and driving with a suspended license.
