In Ohio, Dayshaan Ballew died from his injuries sustained in a hit-and-run tragedy. The hit-and-run accident occurred while Dayshaan Ballew was walking on the sidewalk. Another child was injured, seven-year-old Yahrell Holmes. Holmes sustained minor injuries when Ballew was critically-injured. Allegedly, the driver of the vehicle appeared to lose control of her car at the Dana Avenue and Clarion Avenue intersection around 6:15pm Saturday. Her car struck a pole and went on to the sidewalk striking Holmes and Ballew. The driver, with a passenger, fled the scene in a gold Honda Accord with temporary tags. They were last seen heading south on I-71. Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040 or text 513-352-3050.
