In St. Louis, Nathaniel Robinson was convicted in connection with the death of his 3-year-old son, Desmon Valenzuela. Mr. Robinson was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and felony abuse of a child. Doctors involved in the care of Desmon testified that he died from violent shaking and blunt trauma to the head. There was evidence of other wounds in various stages of healing. Mr. Robinson will be sentenced in March. He faces up to 30 years in prison.
