In Virginia, Brandon Lockett is charged with felony child neglect, improper disposal of a human body and obstruction of justice in connection with missing toddler, Aveion Lewis. A search warrant has been issued and the investigation has resumed into this tragic case involving a missing two-year-old boy that is thought to be dead.
News stories report that Aveion Lewis was returned to the home of Brandon and Morgan Lockett after spending time in foster care. He had previously been removed from their custody due to neglect. He returned to the Lockett’s home in September and has been missing since January 14th.
The FBI and Roanoke Police are involved in this investigation.
