Child Abuse board certification is the next step for physicians in this growing sub-specialty of pediatric medicine. This year the first child abuse board examination will be offered. Washington University School of Medicine, along with 19 other schools, will be offering a newly designed three-year fellowship program in child abuse that will be accredited by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Robert Block helped design the standards for the new subspecialty for the American Board of Pediatrics.

Child abuse is a public health problem. It is widely understood that victims, survivors, of child abuse are at a higher risk for suffering health problems later in life that are directly associated with childhood abuse.

The Keane Law Firm seeks to raise public awareness about child abuse, child abuse prevention and the rights of children that have been catastrophically injured. Please call the office or visit our website for a consultation.
