In Wesson, Bruce Arnold Jenkins, 28 year-old, was arrested for felony child abuse and neglect of his infant son. The Department of Human Services notified the Sheriff’s Office when it became known that the baby was a victim of battered child syndrome.
The alleged child abuse occurred in July and became known when the baby was taken to King’s Daughters Medical Center and then transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center for critical care. Mr. Jenkins is currently held in the Lincoln County Jail.
