In Brookfield, Damion Wise remains in custody for child endangerment and felonious assault in connection with the alleged child abuse of his seven year-old stepson. A neighbor did the responsible thing and reported the suspected child abuse to authorities. When the police found the child, he had bruises all over his body; he was dehydrated with broken bones and a collapsed lung. A baby was also found in the location of the abused seven year-old boy. The investigation is ongoing. The children are in protective custody at this time.
