In Colorado, Aaron Thompson was found guilty of child abuse in connection with the death of his daughter, Aarone. Mr. Thompson was found guilty of 31 counts. The jury found him guilty of conspiracy to commit child abuse, false reporting to authorities, concealing death, conspiracy to conceal death, child abuse resulting in injury, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Mr. Thompson will likely receive a sentence to life in prison. The trial took place in an Arapahoe County courtroom. News stories report that Mr. Thompson committed unspeakable abuses towards children in his household for years. Prosecutors believe the deceased child, Aarone, may have died in 2004. Mr. Thompson did not report her missing until November 2005.
